that dates back to 30,000 years ago!

Sant Pere Sestronques Hermitage

Though mainly built in the tenth century, Sant Pere Sestronques maintains some features of an older, pre-Romanesque building from the ninth or tenth century. The entrance on the west façade, surrounded by a round arch, is protected by a porch. This side of the building also features a bell gable.

The hermitage was renovated in 1994.

To access the hermitage, you will need to request the key from the Anglès parish priest.
