Anglès is a town with a long history and heritage
that dates back to 30,000 years ago!
La Trona, modernist transformer
This building was constructed by the Electro-Popular company to house a transformer. However, it was left unfinished, and is now attached to one of the houses on Plaça de la Vila. It is adorned with details in the Catalan art nouveau (or Modernista) style, including columns with floral capitals, exposed brickwork projections and eaves held up by sculpted corbels.
