Natural heritage

An important part of the identity of Anglès is its natural environment, characterised by the stream bed of the River Ter and proximity to the Guilleries mountains.

Greenway

The El Carrilet Greenway is 57 kilometres long, stretching from Olot to Girona and crossing three counties: Gironès, La Selva and La Garrotxa.

The Anglès–Amer stretch is 20 km long and runs along the Brugent and Ter rivers The greenway passes along all the old railway stations on this line, in the municipalities of Bonmatí, Anglès, La Cellera de Ter, El Pasteral and Amer.
