Can Peix

This was the first house designed by Rafael Masó, in 1907. It is a building with an irregular floor plan consisting of a ground floor, first floor and attic. The house is built in the style of Modernisme and Noucentisme, both cultural movements from around the turn of the twentieth century in Catalonia. This can be seen on the main façade, which features corbels that jut out from the wall and display the name of the building and pisciform motifs, as well as the use of curved, wavy shapes on the windows.
