Can Cendra

This large house belonged to Tomàs de Centra, a landowner and manager of the Burés factory. The original building was constructed in the fifteenth century and was remodelled by Girona-born architect Rafael Masó between 1913 and 1915.

Its outstanding features include its gardens and its impressive interior decoration. Located next to the old town are the house’s Noucentista gardens, which contain various decorative elements, such as fountains, steps built with paving stones, brick seats attached to the walls and highly characteristic vegetation.
