Anglès is a town with a long history and heritage
that dates back to 30,000 years ago!

Sant Miquel Church

Built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, this church has a single nave and three side chapels, dedicated to Saints Michael, Amantius and Narcissus, as well as a semicircular apse. The building replaced the castle’s old Romanesque hermitage, which was first documented in the thirteenth century. In the twentieth century, the church was renovated and the nave was extended. The current bell tower was built after the Spanish Civil War.
