Can Verdaguer or Cal Sabater Arcade

The Can Verdaguer Arcade on Carrer d’Avall is one of the most iconic architectural elements of Anglès.

It can be found at the lower part of the medieval Cal Sabater building, which dates from the late sixteenth century. It features a segmental arch typical of Gothic civic architecture.

Can Verdaguer, meanwhile, is a medieval house with three storeys and an attic. Its most notable feature is its voussoired round arch entrance.
